DESCRIPTION:If you are a graduate with an honours degree and an interest in primary school teacher training\, but don't know where to begin\, then this informal information afternoon is a great place to start!  You can also come along if you are currently in the middle of your degree and are thinking about teaching when you graduate.\nCome and chat about careers in primary education with a member of the SCITT management team over a cup of tea. DESCRIPTION:This will be an informative evening where you can learn more about the structure of the course\, how school placements work and get advice on completing your application form. We’ll answer all those burning questions you have about teacher training and go through the application and interview process.In the first hour\, we offer information regarding the different routes into Initial Teacher Training (including University\, SCITT and School Direct routes) and which routes might suit you best and personalised advice regarding the next steps for YOU to take to successfully apply for ITT;In the second hour\, we offer a workshop to help you make the most of any pre-course experience in schools. This workshop is specifically designed to provide excellent preparation for teacher training and ITT interview processes. We can also discuss opportunities for suitable candidates to meet with and gain school experience alongside current SCITT trainees\, NQTs and teachers in partnership schools.You can come along for just one of the two hours or attend the whole event\, depending on where you are in your application process.
